PRIMARY SWIMMING

For our primary students we have split them into Lower Primary (kindergarten & 1st grade) then we have Upper Primary (2nd grade to 5th grade)

Lower Primary

For our lower primary students, we assess them during their P.E swimming lessons and invite swimmers to join us for 45 minutes in the afternoon once a week to improve their swimming skills.

We take on the stronger swimmers in the afternoon that are able to swim a full length of our 25m pool without any swimming aid.

For swimmers that do not make the team, we help improve their swimming skills in their P.E lessons.

Upper Primary

For our upper primary swimmers we hold swimming try outs at least 3 times per swim season. This gives the opportunity to those that either missed try outs for any reason or for those who did not make the team in the first try outs. We give feedback to those that missed the criteria so they can work on it for the next tryouts.

We have 3 teams with different criteria that the swimmers can try out for.

We have Gold, Silver and Bronze teams for our Upper Primary.
